The emergence of new technologies, such as the cloud, Big Data, analytics and mobile, are fundamentally changing the way companies do business. CFOs in particular recognize that among the best areas of their organizations where they can apply these technologies is within the finance function. Yet, as always, they are also looking to ensure measurable returns on their investments.
During this Webcast, David Axson, managing director with Accenture's strategy practice, will discuss the application of new technologies in finance and how finance leaders are realizing tangible business outcomes from their investments. From this Webcast you will learn:
- How finance teams are using cloud-based systems to increase their operational flexibility while reducing costs;
- Why the finance function is emerging as the source of analytics that organizations depend on to make informed decisions; and
- How new technologies in general can contribute to raising not only the productivity but also the value of the finance function within your organization.
