Building Innovation Muscles For Next Generation Organisations

One of Cisco’s key mandates for reaching its goal of becoming the #1 IT Company in the world is to “Innovate Everywhere”. Cisco is a leading technology company but innovating everywhere is not about technology. It’s about people and unleashing their creativity to tackle important business problems for both customers and business challenges for Cisco. The Services Innovation Excellence Center (SIEC) leads the effort to build innovation capability across its global Services business and the broader Cisco organization.

In this session Matt Asman, who leads the SIEC, will share how the team is creating sustainable innovation muscle power by:

  • Building innovation capability through its maturity model, assessment process, training and tools
  • Enabling ideas through crowdsourcing, challenges, workshops and hackathons
  • Accelerating results through back-end support and key partnerships
