2017 CFO Challenges

How Digitalization & Integrated Performance Management Transform The Role Of Finance From Reactive To Strategic

A recent survey of Fortune 1000 CFOs found that 81% believed they worked at companies that viewed their finance operation as a “strategic business partner”. This shows that the role of finance is rapidly evolving from a backward-looking accounting function to a forward-looking strategic advisor providing insight and direction for the business.

As their role evolves CFOs need to deal with a number of new challenges:

 - Responding quickly to complex, volatile market environments

 - Overseeing digitalization of the business using technology for competitive advantage

 - Tapping the opportunity of increasing amounts of data for analytics and insight

 - Empowering stakeholders seeking insight anywhere, anytime on any device
