Google Creative Lab is a small team that strives to re-think and experiment with marketing and product across every kind of media, currently existing or not, with Google as its sole client. they try to find new ways to communicate the company's innovations, intentions and ideals. Indy will talk about how they apply strategy to help creativity and technology come together using creations from Google Creative Lab as examples.

Director, Creative Strategy
Indy is Director of Creative Strategy, at Google Creative Lab in London.  Creative Lab is a small group of artists, writers, film-makers, designers and coders within Google trying to find experimental new ways to express Google's products and communications, with Google as their only client. Previous to joining Creative Lab, he was head of strategy of TBWA London, working on cross media communications for clients like Absolut, Skittles, British Airways, adidas and Skype. Before this, he spent 7 years client side.  He was Head of Brand and Advertising for Xbox EMEA, working on the launch campaign for Xbox 360 and Halo 3. Prior to this, he spent 4 years as head of European Advertising for adidas, where he helped adidas become advertiser of the year at Cannes in 2005, and led innovation into areas such as branded content and video games. Indy started his career as a graduate trainee at JWT London and founded their first interactive department.  He graduated from King's College, Cambridge University, with a bachelors and masters degree in Engineering.
