Slaying The Data Dragon: Adventures In Integration At EDF Renewable Energy

This presentation will delve into how EDF energy have streamlined their FP&A processes to increase efficiency. Byron Litsey has been with EDF since 2011 and is now the director of financial analysis activities for EDF's North American renewable energy subsidiary EDF Energies Nouvelle. Byron has helped the energy company manage their FP&A processes to be more efficient and more effective, and discusses how the company handle the flood of data currently being gathered.

Byron Litsey holds a Masters in Accountancy and has 23 years of financial operations and reporting experience in the finance, government contracting, and energy sectors.

Byron is currently the Director of Financial Controls, Planning and Analysis at EDF Renewable Energy, a leading independent power producer and the US subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles, the renewable energy arm of EDF group.  Byron’s team at EDFRE coordinates and performs financial planning and analysis in support of renewable energy operations across North America including development, power generation, and maintenance. 

When not at work, Byron keeps busy with his wife and four children and running (slowly) around his neighborhood.
