Return On Health: A New Model For Healthcare Innovation

Busy will show how the company is leading the healthcare industry’s change from volume to value by working toward a bold health goal: to improve Humana members’ healthy days by 20% by 2020. Combining the voices of consumers with new strategy and analytics work, she will talk about how we—as an industry—can work together to transform our healthcare system by:

—Developing a business case for innovation investment that delivers a return on health in the short- and long-term

—Defining the building blocks for consumer-centric healthcare experiences that flip the model from volume to value

—Leading change and building new partnerships toward a vision of a people-centered, data- and technology-driven and community-based healthcare system.

—Creating a roadmap for value creation where health indicators lead financial ones and where all players in the ecosystem have an important sustainable role.
