With an 80% share of their market and a revenue model based on long term Estate Agency contracts, Rightmove has been on a search for the right application of Web Analytics. Reducing bounce rate or identifying an under-performing browser version are clearly important but haven’t been able to capture the hearts of the business leaders. This has led to us carving out a role for Web Analytics in representing the User. I will tell you about this journey and share the case studies of our Web Analytics initiatives.
