Saf Ahmed is responsible for the 'selection, creation, and execution' of all Santander Corporate and Commercial market growth strategies. This includes leadership and delivery of the UK three year double digit growth plan, combining business origination, credit risk, infrastructure, and budget validation, for CEO, and Global Executive Board. Head of national industry sector  strategy board, national credit risk policy board member, led corporate partnerships including with the European Investment Bank. He holds over fifteen years commercial experience in business development, national leadership, and strategy, including Friends Provident, RBS, Barclays and Santander. Post graduate academic achievements include  'Distinction' Honours in  'Corporate Strategic Leadership' , London School of Business,  International Trade, Sustainable Economic Development, Chartered Financial Planning 1,2,3 and advanced, Prince 2, and  Six Sigma.
