Analytics as a Strategic Business Partner
In a world increasingly driven by data, Analytics teams sit right in the center of the data storm. While trying to make sense of data to reveal key metrics has been our primary responsibility,access to data and insights across business units means the analysts and managers need to partner with the business at both a strategic and operational level. Analytics needs to ensure decisions are data-driven, targets are reasonable, priorities are being worked upon and resources are being utilized effectively. At Consumer operations within Google, we are planning to meet this mandate through new tools and automation as well as new types of analyses.
