Job description

The position is a unique skill set to work across digital platforms, including the web content management system for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. This role is directly related to the online marketing presence for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. The revenue increase and uplift from an improved customer experience and capabilities by leveraging cutting edge industry technologies is essential in how we drive more demand through our website.

The focus of this role is to drive the business strategy for online marketing on hpe.com and lead across the complex teams to accomplish this goal. These strategies require both liaison with IT, as well as, internal marketing and product teams. The role requires very seasoned strategic expert, as well as, a diplomat. Proven success in driving successful online experience and marketing strategies to create awareness and demand for products, solutions, and services.

Experience working with website personas and developing strategies to serve specific audiences. Deep understanding of online marketing best practices and industry trends, including Web CMS, Personalization, Search, SEO, Privacy, and Social Media. Thorough understanding of website architecture, content management and usability; knowledge of CMS and site publishing processes/systems.

  • Expert with setup, management, and operations of a web content management system which supports a global and multiple country website.
  • Experience with web analytics and personalization tools; ability to glean and share insights with a broad audience.
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum development framework
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills; ability to present ideas effectively and influence cross-functional teams.
  • History of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, creative agencies and vendors.
  • Self-starter with the ability to identify areas of improvement with little direction.
  • Set and lead the adoption of key web or interactive marketing strategies, policies, processes and standards to reach online customers or internal audiences
  • Develop, drive and evaluate the online customer experience strategy and roadmap spanning multiple business groups.
  • Develop and drive editorial strategies, content and direction for online properties, landing pages or websites
  • Deliver web experiences that result in significant and measurable improvements in understanding, conversion and revenue
  • Be recognized as an authority and thought leader in the interactive marketing space and contribute to the developmaent and adoption of innovative principles and practices across HP
  • Select, manage and develop agencies or contractors
  • Manage functional or department budgets
  • Frequently interacts with senior levels of the company
  • Develop global vision for platform and search strategies
  • Interact with worldwide and regional teams
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor 's Degree
  • Expertise and knowledge in the online space (web, email, search, SEO, privacy, e-business, etc.), including trends and technologies
  • 10+ years of experience in online platform management, digital interactive marketing or user experience

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Advanced knowledge of HTML and experience with popular content management systems (Drupal, HP Team Site, SDL Tridion, Adobe AEM, etc.)
  • Well-developed web analytical skills (measurement, Return on Investment (ROI), forecasting)
  • Superior organization and program management skills
  • Ability to link interactive plans and activities to business results
  • Superior understanding of interactive media, tools and technologies
  • Superior knowledge of Internet principles and web site production
  • Proven experience managing, leading, driving and measuring virtual teams toward common goal
  • High levels of tact and diplomacy
