Updated cloud tech platform to address evolving cyber threats

SaaS provider of identity protection and data breach service aiming to address online identity risks

US-based cybersecurity company ID Experts has announced its new cloud native SaaS platform to its existing identity protection solution MyIDCare which the company said it would aim to address what it has termed the "new threat landscape".

The platform will utilize cloud technology and a mobile design approach to offers users an intuitive, alert-driven service for identity protection.

ID Experts CEO and president Thomas Kelly said: "As the leading provider of identity protection and data breach services to the federal, state and local governments, as well as serving more than 1,000 corporate enterprises, universities and organizations, I've seen firsthand how the proliferation of technology in our lives has increased the threats to consumer privacy.

"That's why over the last year and a half we've invested heavily in reinventing our software platform to allow for the rapid deployment of identity protection solutions. These solutions respond to advanced social media threats, child identity theft, password compromise, medical identity fraud and dark web crime risks," he added.

ID Experts launched in 2003 to provide identity protection and data breach services to US users within the healthcare, government, finance, education and enterprise industries, and has claimed to currently protects more than 25 million users.

According to ID Experts, identity fraud "has reached epidemic proportions, with 16.7 million US victims and $16.8bn stolen last year". The company further outlined, "while many of us are careful with sensitive financial information, we're often less cautious when it comes to secure methods of sharing on social media and managing online credentials".
