Singapore-based tech firm Synchrony Global acquired by Rizing

Synchrony, a Singapore-based tech services company, will help the privately owned, Stamford-based SAP company Rizing expand its cloud computing software consultancy across the Asia Pacific region

Stamford-based SAP multinational, Rizing LLC has acquired Singapore-based tech company Synchrony Global for an undisclosed amount.

Synchrony will join the ranks of N SPRO HCM, Aasonn and 3D Results to become part of Rizing's recently rebranded human capital management (HCM) contingency.

With Synchrony's offices in Singapore and across the South Pacific Asian region, this move will grow Rizing HCM's client base to more than 900 customers. This will cement Rizing's place as one of the world's largest "SAPsuccess factor" cloud computing software firms.

Following the acquisition announcement, Rizing CEO Mike Maiolo said: "We plan to continue to scale both organically and through acquisition for the next number of years. Bringing Synchrony into the Rizing family with its Asia Pacific presence is a natural next step in our growth strategy in the SAP space.

"The combined entity provides a complementary set of services and geographic coverage which will instantly provide value for our customers," he added

As part of the acquisition deal, Synchrony CEO Darcy Lalonde will join Rizing in the role of president of Asia Pacific.
