Salesforce adopts Litmus marketing platform to optimize email marketing campaigns


Litmus, an email marketing platform has announced its partnership with Salesforce in effort to combine both platforms to offer marketers an all-in-one marketing platform within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

The integration of both platforms aims to improve workflow efficiency and automation. According to Erik Nierenberg, CEO of Litmus, the integration will offer email marketing enhanced email marketing developments, as well as offering an optimized email subscriber experience.

Blake Miller, director of product marketing at Salesforce, said: "Our customers need to rapidly produce high-quality, personalized email campaigns.

"We're excited that Marketing Cloud customers now have access to testing services from Litmus, right within the platform they use every day."

The platform aims to provide email personalization, content variation, ability to screen email templates for diverse reading environments and access to email modular designs to optimize email marketing efficiency.

According to the Statistics Portal, in 2017 there was a reported 3.7 billion global email users, which is predicted to increase to 4.1 billion users by 2021.
