Growing momentum in the marketplace for public cloud implementations has led to a rapid evolvement in SAP capabilities from technology and service providers, according to Provider Lens report by Information Services Group (ISG). This shift has resulted in a rise in acquisitions, certifications, partnerships and public cloud alliances.
The report finds that due to this growth, SAP service providers that offer transformation services are becoming more common, and their offerings are becoming more specialized. Such specialization includes accelerators, industry-specific solutions for business outcomes, proprietary tooling, scripts and software stacks.

"SAP continues to undergo an ecosystem transformation, as cloud computing is now a major component of HANA services and migration conversations," said Esteban Herrera, partner and global leader of ISG. "Organizations must now consider cloud options for their SAP infrastructure, including hybrid cloud environments or a complete transformation of all their SAP services to public cloud providers."
The report named IBM as a market leader in all five quadrants, which was the most of any provider, while Accenture and Capgemini were cited as leaders in four quadrants. HCL and Infosys were also named leaders in three quadrants.
