NIIT Technologies signs cloud-focused partnership with Microsoft

Collaboration between Microsoft and NIIT Technologies will aim to drive cloud-led transformation as the two company's strengthen their two-decade-long relationship

Global IT solutions organization NIIT Technologies Limited has announced a new collaboration with Microsoft to accelerate the cloudification of its enterprise clients.

NIIT Technologies will collaborate with Microsoft on its enterprise customers' cloud requirements, which will range from infrastructure to business applications.

Both companies signed a strategic cloud solution provider (CSP) agreement which will enable NIIT Technologies to directly manage the lifecycle for its enterprise customers by delivering end-to-end solutions as a managed service on Azure.

Together, NIIT Technologies and Microsoft will develop and deliver technology solutions for customers in the banking and financial services, travel and transportation, and insurance segments, also helping them to migrate to Azure.

On the agreement with Microsoft, NIIT Technologies CEO Sudhir Singh remarked: "This relationship brings together our deep domain vertical expertise along with our differentiated intellectual property built on emerging Microsoft technologies such as AI and predictive analytics to accelerate the digital ambition of our clients."

The two companies have been collaborating for almost 20 years, leading Gavriella Schuster, corporate vice-president, One Commercial Partner (OCP) at Microsoft Corp, to comment: "Microsoft's focus is to not only integrate AI capabilities into its products and cloud services but also enabling its partners to leverage these AI capabilities to build AI-powered solutions, which empower employees, engage customers, optimize operations and transform products."
