Malaysian telecom company Celcom Axiata Berhad has signed an agreement with Huawei Technologies in an effort to adopt a full suite cloud-based technology for the operator's network management.
The agreement will integrate Huawei's Digitized Operation Platform, a combination of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine-learning technology, powered by Huawei's Operation Web Services Platform (OWS).
Additionally, Huawei will aim to leverage its Digitized Operation Automation and Intelligence Services Solution (AUTIN) in hope to offer an automated intelligent operation network to manage Celcom's complex networks and services.

Amandeep Singh, CTO of Celcom, said, "Celcom will constantly continue the evolution of its network with the latest technologies to bring an awesome experience for Malaysians. It is critical that we explore the capabilities of new generation technology with global partners like Huawei.

Celcom stated that the partnership hoped to pioneer the integration of cloud-based Digitized Operations Platforms in Malaysia. Furthermore, it will aim to elevate collaboration between industry players and enhance digital operations.
