Australian Open enters into digital innovation partnership with Infosys

Australia's Grand Slam will integrate Infosys' technologies to enhance digital experience for tennis fans


The Australian Open has entered into a three-year partnership with Infosys, naming it as its digital innovation partner, as it aims to leverage the technology to offer an improved experienced for fans.

Infosys will provide the Grand Slam's organizers with big data, analytics, artificial intelligence (AI) technology and virtual and augmented reality solutions, which Infosys said would aim to offer unique, innovative and engaging experiences for fans.

Infosys CEO Salil Parekh said, "This partnership is about creating new ways of experiencing the Australian Open. We’re really excited about the opportunity to showcase how digital technologies can enhance the boundaries of this tournament, to change the way the Australian Open is watched, analyzed and played.

"This association with Tennis Australia also reaffirms our strategic commitment to the region where we partner with some of the leading enterprises in driving their digital transformation agenda," he added.
