AI and machine-learning platform set to improve business automation

GFT develops a platform designed to improve business automation with the help of Google Cloud technology


German-based IT company GFT Technologies SE (GFT), a Google Cloud services partner, has launched its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered platform, GFT Streaming Enterprise Analytics Platform (SEAP), as it aims to accelerate digitization within financial institutions and automate business operations.

SEAP will leverage Google Cloud to provide real-time data ingestion and processing to provide actionable insights. Additionally, GFT states that with the integration of Google Cloud technology, SEAP will adopt AI, big data streaming technology and machine learning (ML) that will provide the platform with the ability to consume various types of unstructured data in a streaming format and enable inflow of analytics.

Craig Parfitt, head of engineering and AI at GFT, said: "Data is the foundation of a truly digital experience therefore big data, cloud, open source and ML/AI technologies all form the enterprise data platform of the future.

"Drawing on these capabilities, SEAP is able to conduct real-time, enterprise-wide data ingestion and analysis by extracting intelligence from previously inaccessible data sources to produce a valuable level of insight."

GFT was founded in 1987 and has asserted that AI, blockchain and distributed ledgers, cloud engineering and data analytics are all pioneering technologies for the digitization of the finance world. GFT's technology partners currently include companies such as Google Cloud, Cloudera, IBM and Oracle.
